Within Overland Park and the greater Kansas City Metro area, there is enormous diversity. That diversity is reflected in the Overland Park Church of the Nazarene. We seek reflect our community and to display unity across cultures.
The Overland Park Church of the Nazarene is committed to multicultural ministry in all of its practices. As a part of that commitment, we offer as a part of our regular worship service a preaching service in Mandarin. All church participants gather together for the opening actions of worship, and those who wish to participate in the Chinese service are invited to Room 200 for a sermon and song in Mandarin. For more information, contact Pastor Christina Yeh at firstname.lastname@example.org.
ELL Sunday School
We offer English language classes for those seeking proficiency in a second language. The classes are a comfortable setting to ask questions about life, culture, and everyday conversations that take place in American life. The classes are offered at all levels of learning. We also offer classes in the study of the Bible for English language learners, as well. These classes offer a safe environment for searchers to ask questions related to the Christian faith. For more information contact the church office at email@example.com.
New Life Fellowship Group
The New Life Fellowship Group began in 2012. It consists of mainly Chinese and a few American teachers. We focus on ministry to those from the mainland of China. On every other Saturday night, we assemble to worship the Lord by singing songs, sharing testimonies, studying the Bible, and praying for one another. We are growing together by serving the Lord and serving one another. The core members have demonstrated strong faith with a good commitment to both group and the larger church. This group meets in a member’s home. For more information, contact Pastor Christina Yeh at firstname.lastname@example.org.
