KC Rescue Mission

Overland Park Church of the Nazarene is an active partner with Shelter KC, including Shelter KC Women’s Center. Both are Christ-centered communities located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, both offering freedom and hope to the poor and homeless, empowering them to reach their full potential.  These centers provide safe shelter, wholesome meals, refreshing showers, clean clothing, healthcare, case management, chapel services, adult education, life skills, Bible-based counseling and residential recovery programs for homeless individuals.

As a church, we come alongside Shelter KC and Shelter KC Women’s Center in prayer and financial support as well as with hands-on ministry, including food service, clothing donations, sorting and distribution, and more!  Containers for donating slightly used clothing are located on the lower level near our Church Office.
