KC Rescue Mission

Overland Park Church of the Nazarene is an active partner with Kansas City Rescue Mission (KCRM), a Christ-centered community located at 1520 Cherry St., KC, MO, which offers freedom and hope to the poor and homeless, empowering them to reach their full potential.  Founded in 1950, the KCRM Men’s Center provides safe shelter, wholesome meals, refreshing showers, clean clothing, healthcare, case management, chapel services, adult education, life skills, Bible-based counseling and residential recovery programs for homeless men.  In July 2013, KCRM expanded its services to include a Women’s Center equipped to minister to single, homeless women through a 20-bed modern facility located at 11th and Prospect.

As a church, we come alongside KCRM in prayer and financial support as well as with hands-on ministry, including food service, clothing sorting and distribution, leading worship for chapel services, work days, and more!
